iPhone 12: Here’s what Apple iPhone 12 series Geekbench tests have to say about performance

Apple iPhone 12 and 12 Pro’s Geekbench test results are out. As per the Geekbench tests, the iPhone 12 got a single-core score of 1,588 and a multi-core score of 3,677 whereas the iPhone 12 Pro got 1,590 on the single-core test and 3,881 on the multi-core one. The new iPhones are set to come with the A14 Bionic chip, which would be an improvement over the A13 chip. As per the new Geekbench listing, the new iPhones are going to offer just under 20% improvement in single-core and 8% increase in the multi-core performance tests, if the results are compared with A13’s Geekbench listings, claims a report by GSMArena It is being speculated that Apple will ship the iPhone 12 with 4GB RAM. The iPhone 12 mini is also expected to get the same RAM as the iPhone 12. On the other hand, the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max models are expected to have 6GB RAM. However, nothing in this regard is going to be confirmed officially. Apple, as per its norm, isn’t likely to reveal the RAM or the battery of the upcoming iPhones. Apple unveiled the new iPhones on October 13 along with the other gadgets like HomePod Mini. The iPhone 12 can be pre-ordered from October 23, 2020 and will be available from October 30. Coming to the prices of the new iPhones, the iPhone 12’s 64GB variant is priced at Rs 79,900, 128GB at Rs 84,900 and 256GB at Rs 94,900. The iPhone 12 Pro is priced at Rs 1,19,900 for the 128GB storage variant, the 256GB variant at Rs 1,29,900 and the 512GB variant is priced at Rs 1,49,900. The iPhone 12 Pro Max comes at Rs 1,29,900 for the 128GB variant, the 256GB variant is priced at Rs 1,39,900 and the 512GB storage variant comes at Rs 1,59,900.
