Nokia: Nokia to launch three new phones at IFA2020: Report
HMD Global is planning to launch three new Nokia phones at IFA 2020 (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin) exhibition this year, as per a report by nokiamob. The phones up for the launch are believed to be Nokia 2.4, Nokia 6.3 and Nokia 7.3. The report, citing sources, said that Nokia 2.4 will come with an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor, codenamed “Wolverine”. The other expected features of the phone are a 6.5-inch 720P display, a dual rear camera setup of 13MP+2MP and a 5MP lens for selfies. The phone is speculated to come in two RAM and storage options of 2GB+32GB and 3GB+64GB and be backed by a 4500mAh battery. Nokia 2.4 has already appeared on Geekbench and the listing reveals the processor to be an ARM MT6762V/WB, only 2GB RAM option and the storage options being 16GB and 32GB. The Nokia 6.3 is expected to come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 or 675 processor and have a Zeiss quad camera setup at the rear. Nokia 7.3 may have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 700 series processor and a rear quad camera. The phone may come in 4G and 5G versions both. The report says that the three phones–the TA-1277 versions of the Nokia 6.3, Nokia 7.3, and Nokia 2.4– have been seen on a Canadian certification site. The Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin or the Berlin International Consumer Electronics Exhibition or IFA will be held from September 3 to 5 this year. The electronics exhibition will be held mainly online due to the coronavirus pandemic.
