Redmi Note 9 variant in India to come with new 6GB RAM model
NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is all set to launch its Redmi Note 9 smartphone in India. The company has scheduled the launch to take place on July 20. Now a new report by GizmoChina reveals that the company will launch the 6GB RAM variant of Redmi Note 9 in India. The company launched the same smartphone globally in April with 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants. But in India, the company might not launch the 3GB RAM variant. So, for the Indian market, the Redmi Note 9 is said to come in 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM versions. The smartphone comes in Forest Green, Polar White, Midnight Grey colour options and is expected to be priced under Rs 18,000. Redmi Note 9 specificationsThe Redmi Note 9 features a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with a 1080×2340 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage variants — 64GB and 128GB. Users can further expand the storage up to 512GB by adding a microSD card. The smartphone comes with dual SIM functionality and runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own MIUI 11. The Redmi Note 9 sports a quad-camera setup with a 48MP main sensor with f/1.79 aperture, 8MP 118° ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP macro lens and 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 13MP selfie camera with f/2.25 aperture. The smartphone comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor. The device comes with slash-resistant P2i coating and is backed by a 5,020 mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging.
