An earlier report by WinFuture had said that the new Galaxy Buds will come with a codename “Beans” which is what these headphones look like. The report added that each of these Bud is approximately 2.8 cm long and doesn’t feature any silicone tips. It also suggested that users will be able to insert the lower half of the Bud inside the ear, “while the lower part and thus the integrated loudspeakers protrude into the ear canal and emit them accordingly.” As per the report, a source has revealed that the upcoming Galaxy Buds bear the model number SM-R180 and house two small loudspeakers — of which one provides treble and midrange or low tones. An outside channel on the Buds is also rumoured. Further, the Galaxy Buds are said to house “several built-in microphones, which are used on the one hand for telephone calls, but on the other hand probably also serve for the optional transmission of outside noise.” Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Buds Live at the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5, along with the new Galaxy Note 20 flagship smartphones and also a new Galaxy Fold phone.
