Trell claims 20 million new users from tier-2 cities

Home-grown lifestyle blogging platform Trell claims it has recorded 20 million new users in tier-2 cities. The app allows users to create 3-5-minute videos in their native languages. The comany claims that the app has grown 10X since the government blocked 59 China-linked apps. It has total user base of 45 million+. Some of the top cities on the platform include Lucknow, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Mysuru, Visakhapatnam, Guwahati, Goa. Trell recently launched its platform in three new languages; Marathi, Kannada, and Bengali taking the total count to 8 languages (including Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam). The app that claims it is the video Pinterest for Bharat and the go-to platform for users to share their experiences, recommendations, and reviews across various categories including health and fitness, beauty and skincare, travel, movie reviews, cooking, home-décor and much more.
